Ambroxol Hydrochloride

Ambroxol Hydrochloride is a clinically proven systemic mucolytic agent and metabolite of bromhexine. It decreases mucus viscosity by breaking down acid mucopolysaccharide fibers in the phlegm, facilitating expectoration and relieving productive cough.

Dosage by Body Weight

Usually administered orally after meals. Increased fluid intake is recommended during treatment to enhance the mucolytic effect.
